You will be responsible for implementing Talent Management policies, procedures, standards and frameworks within the context of the FirstRand Human Capital Operating Model and to support and partner the Talent Management Practice Lead on key projects and deliverables.
Are You Someone Who Can
- Ensure Customer Centricity and Stakeholder Engagement.
- Support the design of relevant methodologies, tools, processes, initiatives, and standards for Talent Management interventions.
- Drive and monitor quality assurance of Talent Management projects/initiatives and reports.
- Support the Chief People Officer on Talent Management deliverables within the business and monitor implementation solicit feedback from customers on delivery and respond accordingly.
- Keep abreast of best practice and provides input on talent management practices and processes and the integration of practices across the HR functions.
- Work with other practices in the CoE to ensure integration and alignment of talent management practices across the HR value chain.
- Conduct research regarding macro and micro trends and best practice relating to area of practice to determine suitability of solutions to organizational context, implements and communicates appropriate changes.
- Solve emerging Talent Management challenges utilizing diagnostics, data and people intelligence.
- Support HC to build robust practice data and provide relevant integrative insights to assist business to make pro-active decisions.
- Integrate business, organization, and talent information to identify trends, discrepancies and inconsistencies for decision making purposes.
- Ensure data management for quality and integrity is of the highest standard to create value added knowledge and guidance towards decision making.
- Prepare/compile/extract talent information and produces reports where relevant.
- Improve business decisions by providing insights and guidance from analysis of relevant business intelligence.
- Consult and support the business with the implementation of Succession and Career Management practices with contextual business solutions Provides input into Succession and Career Management practices, policies and technology enablement.
- Support business, HC and other practices on Competency and Capability modelling, evaluation and integration of competencies.
- Identify, manage, and implement opportunities for improvement and enhancement in line with principles of innovation and customer feedback regarding area of practice.
- Ensure appropriate implementation and application of practice-related policies and processes across the business.
- Enable the HC community to identify organization-wide talent aligned to the transformation strategy, identify traditional/nontraditional methods to solving for critical capability needs.
- Drive validation of talent in conjunction with other practices (development, assessments, performance management).
- Work with the Org Design practice during job evaluations and provide input on role, Behavioural competencies, and skills.
- Upskill HR and line regarding Succession and Career Management principles through training, toolkits and communication.
- Facilitate and co-ordinate the workforce segmentation of roles, partner with business and HC to identify critical roles and skills for the business, keep abreast of future skill needs to enable and support strategic workforce planning.
- Serve as Business Partner for key some Business Units.
- Identify and participate in activities that are appropriate for own development as a life-long learner.
- Develop, encourage and nurture collaborative relationships across business areas and across the group.
You Will Be An Ideal Candidate If You Have
- The relevant degree
- Previous 4-6 years in an HR or People Development role with thorough understanding of Talent Management
- Proven Experience in Talent management of at least 3 years
- Affiliated to HR professional body
- Well-developed interpersonal/relationship building skills
- Effective written communication
- Proven planning and organizational skills
