Strong commercial competition between players in the industry makes it impossible to operate without credit facilities to customers. The availability of credit helps improve turnover of the company; However, issue of credit must be handled strategically hence the role of credit control management. This is to ensure credit is issued to customers with ability to pay. Efficient management of credit enhances liquidity / working capital position of the company and directly reduces the dependence on loan facilities.

• Assist in organizing monthly Credit Control Meetings for all channels (General Trade, Network, etc…).
• Collect analysis of block orders for review and subsequent release by Management.
• Preparation of Total card analysis and all customer accounts updates in the Harmonie Tool.
• Prepare monthly customer statement of accounts for circulation.
• Follow-up on all debtors’ transfer to Legal Department and inform the Credit Control Manager accordingly.
• Create and maintain good relationships with all stakeholders and ensure the achievement of yearly objectives for the credit control unit.
• Follow up on collection promises made by respective Network and Consumer Territory Managers.
• Follow-up with Treasury officers on the timely matching of customer’s account

• At all times remain cognizant of the company’s safety requirements in regard to the position and conduct, including abiding by the golden rules on safety, report all cases of near miss encountered, and use STOP card where necessary.

A good first Degree (minimum of second class upper) in Accounting, Finance or related field is required.

 Have good interpersonal relationships, communication, and analytical skills.

Strong organization skills

Minimum of three years’ experience in a similar position.
