Job Description
A reputable, private Christian Primary School located at Sakumono, Greater Accra Region, dedicated to nurturing well-rounded, future-ready students through academic excellence, holistic education and innovation invites applications from suitably qualified candidates to fill the position of Head of School for the 2026/2027 academic year.
Reporting to the Senior Pastor and the School Board, the Head of School will oversee top-tier academic programming and administrative operations of the school. The ideal candidate will provide visionary leadership, drive academic excellence and spearhead strategic growth initiatives for our thriving, competitive and academic-focused community
Key Responsibilities
•Develop and execute the strategic vision to foster academic excellence and school growth
•Initiate revenue-generating strategies and ensure prudent financial management for school operations
•Lead, mentor and evaluate staff to ensure high-quality service and a positive working environment
•Oversee operational logistics, budgeting and compliance will all statutory regulations
•Strengthen partnerships with parents, the community and the board
•Champion a school-wide culture of safety, inclusivity and holistic student development
Qualification Required & Experience
•A minimum of a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed), or a Post-Graduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) from a recognized institution
•A certified professional teacher
•A minimum of 10 years of relevant work experience with at least 4 years in a senior management position
•Must be in active service, either in a private r public facility
•Ability to excel in a fast-paced high pressure environment
•Excellent communication and presentation skills
•Team-building skills
•Computer Proficiency
