To ensure that all procedures, rules, and regulations of the workshop adhered to, and to
supply traffic with bus requirements at minimum cost.


Key Responsibilities


●       Assist the Head of Technical / Engineering with the control, coordinating, and directing of
activities of all workshops.

●       Supervise the servicing of the Customer and the Company’s fleet of vehicles promptly to reduce downtime.

●       Provide analysis of fleet availability reports daily, weekly, and monthly to the Head of Technical / Engineering

●       Draw up and manage preventive maintenance schedules for each of the Customer and Company’s vehicles.

●       Oversee the operations of the valuation section.

●       Keep a maintenance and repair history for each of the Customer and Company vehicles.

●       Collate and analyze weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual activity and maintenance
reports from the regions.

●       Advice on the appropriate spare parts to requisition for purchase and supply.

●       Train and maintain a skilled workforce for the workshop.

●       Establish guidelines and work procedures to control cost and improve the profitability of
workshop operations.

●       Ensure that health, security, safety, and housekeeping practices in the workshops meet
the standard requirements of the Company.

●       Monitor disciplinary procedures and advise management on persistent problem areas.

●       Approve workshop cost estimates for repair and maintenance works.

●       Carry out quality controls on vehicles leaving the workshop after repairs.

●       Assess and recommend external machines and other automotive workshops to be used for outsourcing jobs and services.

●       Perform any other duties as may from time to time be assigned by Head of Technical / Engineering.


·       Must be a degree holder in Logistics

·       Professional qualification in a related field.


·        Not less than Eight (8) years of working experience in the Automobile industry

·        8 years in Logistics Role.

·        Experience in the transportation industry.

Knowledge & Skills Required

·        Ability to read and/or interpret mechanical and hydraulic blueprints.

·        Be able to work both independently and in a team, environment completing objectives efficiently with a sense of responsibility.

·        Ability to multi-task

·        A good team player

·        Excellent interpersonal skills

·        Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with internal stakeholders

·        Ability to work effectively with all categories of employees

·        People management skills
