Our client, a catering company that provides food services at remote sites for reputable organizations, is looking to hire a cleaner who will be responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary environment for food preparation and service.

This includes cleaning and sanitizing all kitchen equipment, food preparation areas, and dining spaces.

He/She will also manage waste disposal, stock supplies, and may assist with basic food handling tasks as and when needed.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Cleaning and Sanitizing:Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming all kitchen and dining areas. Washing dishes, pots, pans, and utensils. Sanitizing surfaces, equipment, and food preparation areas.
• Waste Management:Proper disposal of food waste, recycling, and general trash.
• Restocking Supplies:Ensuring adequate supplies of cleaning materials, paper products, and other essential items.
• Maintaining Equipment:Cleaning and maintaining cleaning equipment like floor scrubbers and dishwashers.
• Following Safety and Sanitation Standards:Adhering to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Reporting Issues:Notifying management of any maintenance or repair needs.
• Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards:Ensuring the kitchen and dining areas meet the required standards for cleanliness and hygiene, both in terms of working methods and personal hygiene.
• Other Duties:Assisting with setting up tables for service, moving furniture, and other tasks as needed.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
