Your Impact
- Execute and implement daily site security investigations.
As Part Of Our Team You Will
- Conduct investigations regarding security breaches, theft, or any suspicious activities within the mining site.
- Advise on matters related to security investigations by serving as the primary point of contact on security breaches, theft, or any suspicious activities within the mining site.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and internal partners to collect evidence, interview witnesses, and prepare comprehensive reports.
- Implement and maintain secure case management system.
- Implement and adhere to investigation procedures by matching them with company’s security and legal governance documents, and industry standard methodology.
Your Training, Skills And Experience Checklist
Formal Qualification (including Professional Registrations):
- A Degree or Professional Diploma in a security or criminal related course.
Additional Knowledge
- Understanding of forensic investigation methods applicable to physical security incidents, including evidence collection, preservation, and analysis.
- Comprehensive understanding of security investigation best practices, industry standards, and regulatory compliance related to physical security.
- Knowledge of risk assessment methodologies and the ability to identify vulnerabilities, threats, and the appropriate mitigative strategies.
- Familiarity with laws and regulations governing investigations, data privacy, and the ethical implications of physical security.
- Insight into incident reporting, escalation processes, and corrective action planning within security contexts.
- Experience conducting investigative interviews.
Experience
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience in government or private investigation institutions.
- Experience in public security services is preferable.
- Strong administrative background and functioning knowledge of procurement, budgeting and reporting.
- Experience in establishing and maintaining an intelligence network.
- Experienced driver with a minimum Ghana class C driver’s license.

- Works in established systems and processes.
- Compares data collected from processes with a known model or system.
- Imagines how tasks might be completed without direct, physical, hands-on feedback.
- Solves problems where trial & error may not be sufficient; other methods may be required.

Technical Skills
- Proficiency in analyzing data and reports, identifying trends, and making informed decisions based on investigative findings.
- Experience with surveillance systems (CCTV, access control, alarms) and the ability to use this technology for investigative purposes.
- Ability to compile concise, accurate, and comprehensive investigative reports and documentation for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Skills in leading, training, and developing a team of security professionals to ensure adherence to investigation processes and best practices.
- Very strong interpersonal skills for interviews.
- Familiarity with incident management platforms and tools used for tracking and documenting security incidents and investigations.
