Role: Head of Legal

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all legal affairs of the institution and ensure compliance with laws and regulations
• Draft, review and approve contracts, agreements and legal documents
• Advise management and the board on legal risks and corporate governance
• Represent the company in legal proceedings and liaise with external counsel
• Develop and implement legal policies and frameworks

Qualification Required & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law (LLB/LLM)
• 10 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in the financial sector with 5+ years in a Senior Management role
• Strong knowledge of financial, corporate and regulatory laws
• Excellent analytical, advisory and communication skills
