The Governing council of Our Lady of Apostles (OLA) College of Education, Cape Coast, invites applications from qualified and competent persons for the positions of: Vice Principal

Duties

•The Vice Principal shall assist the Principal in the overall management and administration of the college and act in the Principal’s stead when necessary

Qualification Required & Experience

The applicant must:

•Possess a PhD or equivalent terminal degree
•Be an individual of stature in Teacher Education (Teaching and Learning)
•Be at least a Senior Lecturer in a tertiary Education institution or analogous institution
•Have rich administrative experience
•Have a good understanding of the challenges facing the colleges of Education in particular and tertiary education in Ghana, in general.
•Be able to complete at least one term of 3 years before attaining the compulsory

Tenure of Office

The appointment of someone of professorial status as Vice Principal shall be for a term of 3 years and may be renewed for one additional term of 3 years, provided the full term is served before the compulsory retirement age of 60.

Conditions of Service
