Tap & Order is a fast-growing Super App built to simplify everyday life in Ghana. Our platform brings together food delivery, marketplace shopping, courier services, ride-hailing, mobility, and professional services — all in one smart ecosystem.

We’re expanding rapidly and seeking a bold, energetic, and persuasive Vendor Acquisition Lead to spearhead the onboarding of restaurants, shops, pharmacies, service providers, and retail businesses.

Role Overview:

The Vendor Acquisition Lead is responsible for growing the Tap & Order marketplace by identifying, pitching, onboarding, and nurturing businesses. You will be the face of Tap & Order to vendors — educating them, helping them set up on the platform, and ensuring they start receiving orders smoothly.

This role is perfect for someone confident, street-smart, convincing, and excited about driving growth.

Key ResponsibilitiesVendor Recruitment & Onboarding

  • Identify and target potential vendors: restaurants, shops, grocery stores, pharmacies, boutiques, service providers, etc.
  • Pitch the Tap & Order platform with confidence and clarity
  • Lead physical visits, sales calls, and WhatsApp outreach to recruit vendors
  • Collect business details, menus, product lists, and images
  • Support vendors with onboarding, account setup, and going live

Vendor Relationship Management

  • Act as the primary contact for all newly onboarded vendors
  • Ensure vendors understand how to accept orders and manage their dashboard
  • Monitor vendor activity and troubleshoot operational issues
  • Build long-term relationships that encourage loyalty to the platform

Performance Monitoring

  • Track vendor activation and performance metrics
  • Identify inactive vendors and re-engage them
  • Work with the operations and marketing teams to boost vendor sales

Market Research & Expansion

  • Map out high-potential vendor clusters and commercial areas
  • Gather insights on market trends, competitor offerings, and product needs
  • Suggest new categories and vendors for platform expansion

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with the Operations Manager and Marketing Team
  • Support promotions, campaigns, and onboarding activations
  • Provide feedback to improve vendor experience and platform features

Qualifications

  • Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Sales, or related field
  • 1–3 years in sales, vendor acquisition, merchant onboarding, or field marketing
  • Strong communication and persuasion skills
  • Must be confident approaching businesses (face-to-face and online)
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Strong negotiation skills and high emotional intelligence
  • Experience with delivery apps, marketplaces, or retail ecosystems is a plus
  • Smartphone literacy and ability to learn new software quickly

Compensation

  • Base salary
  • Performance-based commissions
