Job Description
A reputable institution wishes to inform the general public that applications are invited from suitably qualified individuals to the position: UI/UX Designer
Job Purpose
• To create intuitive, visually appealing and user-centric digital experiences for applications. The role seeks to bridge the gap between user requirements and technical feasibility, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver engaging and effective user experiences that align with the brand and business objectives
Key Duties and Responsibilities
• Ensure that a suitable user interface and design are produced for all applications
• Provide design specifications and documentation to facilitate the development and implementation process
• Adopt the right design frameworks and tools
• Prepare reports on user interface development deliverables
Qualification Required & Experience
• A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited tertiary institution in Computer Science, information systems (MIS) and any other relevant field
• Must have completed mandatory National Service
• Graphical and visual design skills, including the use of a diverse set of software such as adobe suite, Figma, Balsamiq or other tools for graphic design, visual design
• A minimum of 2 years relevant work experience as a UI-UX designer in an organisation
• High proficiency in using design tools such as Adobe Suite and Sketch (preferably)
• Experience in rapid prototyping and rapid prototyping tools, such as InVision, Axure, Marvel, etc
• Experience with conducting user research, usability testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping
