Job Summary
The Client Assistant (CA) is responsible for ensuring products are properly displayed, stocked, and promoted at open market outlets to maximize sales and brand visibility. The role involves maintaining attractive product displays, monitoring stock levels, implementing promotional activities, and ensuring compliance with company merchandising standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Product Display & Merchandising
- Arrange and maintain product displays according to company guidelines.
- Ensure shelves, racks, gondolas and promotional displays are clean, organized, and fully stocked.
- Implement planograms and promotional displays in stores.
2. Stock Monitoring
- Monitor product stock levels at customer stores or retail outlets.
- Report out-of-stock items and coordinate replenishment with Sales Representation or Reginal Sales Manager.
- Check product expiry dates and rotate stock (FIFO).
3. Sales Support
- Support sales team to ensure product availability and visibility.
- Assist in executing promotions, product launches, and marketing campaigns in market.
4. Store Relationship Management
- Maintain good working relationships with store managers and staff.
- Ensure compliance with store policies while implementing merchandising standards.
5. Market Feedback & Reporting
- Provide feedback on competitor activities, pricing, and promotions.
- Submit regular reports on store visits, stock levels, and merchandising status.
- Capture photos of displays and report issues to supervisors.
6. Compliance
- Ensure all displays follow company brand standards.
- Follow company policies and health & safety guidelines.
Requirements
Education
- SHS and above, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
Experience
- 1–3 years-experience in merchandising, retail, or FMCG sales support.
Skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Basic reporting and data recording skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple stores
- Physical ability to move and arrange products when necessary
Other Requirements
- Basic knowledge of retail merchandising practices.

- Store visit coverage
