Job Description


Objective

  • The Ticketing Officer is responsible for planning and making reservations for Wakanow customers. Responsibilities
  • Assisting and advising customers who may be choosing from various travel options.
  • Making reservations for customers based on their various requirements and budgetary allowances.
  • Check the availability of accommodation based on the customers’ desired travel dates.
  • Helping plan travel itineraries by suggesting local tourist attractions and places of interest.
  • Sorting out any issues that may arise with bookings or reservations.
  • Providing support to customers who have already made travel purchases by confirming, changing, or canceling the reservations
  • Notifying passengers about involuntary flight rescheduling or cancelations
  • Selling add-on travel products, such as hotels, travel insurance, etc.
  • Informing clients of essential travel information, such as travel times, transportation connections, and medical and visa requirements.

Requirements Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the Ticketing role.
  • Applicants should know how to issue and reissue tickets, know how to do refunds is a plus, and have a diploma/ Consultant in IATA/ UFTAA is also a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience in the use of Amadeus and other GDS platform
  • A deep knowledge of the aviation industry and ticketing rules
  • Must have basic knowledge of Microsoft, that is, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
