Job Description
Role Purpose:
• Carry out testing, Validation and Quality Assurance of new products and services, terminal devices, as well as carrying out regression test during platform upgrades.
Responsibilities:
• Test and certify new products and services for implementation or rejection.
• Conduct end-to-end testing during platform upgrades and regression testing after hotfixes.
• Analyze detailed call records and provide actionable recommendations to product developers, platform vendors, and stakeholders.
• Perform compatibility and user acceptance testing on mobile and fixed terminal devices.
• Execute functional, platform, and acceptance testing for applications and validate developed solutions.
• Collaborate with vendors on project delivery, new product releases, and feature rollouts.
• Validate new SIM profiles in coordination with product development and SIM vendors.
• Liaise with Telecel group to validate tools and enablers in the local market.
• Work with revenue assurance teams to reconcile product dynamics and tariff structures.
Qualification Required & Experience
Requirements:
• Minimum of three years of hands-on experience in core network or intelligent switching environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Unix-based systems and familiarity with IT networking concepts.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and make informed decisions on product acceptability in the absence of direct oversight.
• Professional certification in Networking or a related field is advantageous.
