Key Duties / Responsibilities

• Ensure that all works are executed to precision and in compliance with specification
• Prepare and coordinate intensive weekly programmes for projects
• Supervise, monitor and inspect construction works
• Ensure works meet quality standards and that trades are completed on schedule
• Monitor project progress
• Prepare monthly progress report
• Ensure project compliance with national and local authority requirements
• Review and approve sub-contractor’s implementation schedule and advice on the progress of construction works
• Ensure that all work done meets all safety compliance requirements
• Supervise quality control tests for material used for the construction
• Attend site progress / technical meetings
• Any other duties assigned

Qualification Required & Experience

• Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering / Construction Management/Building Technology or a related field plus a minimum of 8 years of construction supervision work experience in a similar position
• Experience working with stakeholders at various levels
• Possess solid management skills, client influencing and relationshi–building skills
• Must be able to use basic survey instruments
• Proficient in the use of computer-aided design (CAD) software such Ms Project, Autocad etc
