Job Title: Shop Manager
*Reports to:*Business Owner
Location: Community 25, Tema

Job Summary:

We’re seeking an experienced and dynamic Shop Manager to lead our Gift, Home & Personal Essentials Shop team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving sales, managing daily operations, and providing exceptional customer service in a fast- paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Sales and Revenue Growth:
– Achieve sales targets and increase revenue through effective sales strategies and team management.
– Analyze sales data, identify trends, and implement strategies to optimize sales performance.
2. Team Management:
– Train, and manage a high performing team
– Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting teamwork and collaboration.
– Coach and develop team members to enhance their sales and customer service skills.
3. Customer Service:
– Ensure exceptional customer service standards are maintained throughout the store.
– Respond to customer complaints and feedback, resolving issues promptly and professionally.

4. Store Operations:
– Manage daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, stock management, and visual merchandising.
– Maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment.
5. Inventory Management:
– Manage inventory levels, track stock movements, and optimize stock levels to minimize waste and maximize sales.
– Collaborate with the buying team to select and purchase products that meet customer needs and drive sales.
6. Visual Merchandising:
– Create visually appealing store displays and window displays to attract customers and drive sales.
– Ensure store displays and promotional materials are aligned with the brand’s image and marketing strategies.
7. Reporting and Administration:
– Prepare and submit sales reports, inventory reports, and other relevant documentation.
– Manage store budgets, track expenses, and optimize resources to achieve business objectives.

Requirements:

1. Experience: 2-5 years of retail management experience, preferably in a gift or home goods shop or similar environment.
2. Skills:
– Excellent leadership and team management skills.
– Strong sales and customer service skills.
– Ability to analyze sales data and make informed decisions.
– Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system.
– Knowledge of gift and home goods products, trends, and merchandising techniques.
3. Qualifications:
– Higher National Diploma or equivalent required; degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred.
