Job Summary:

•The Senior Manager, IT Infrastructure Delivery is responsible for the end-to-end delivery, operations, and lifecycle management of the organisation’s IT infrastructure platforms (cloud, data center, compute, storage, and network).
•The role ensures high availability, performance, security, and scalability of infrastructure services while driving operational excellence, automation, and cost-efficient service delivery aligned with business objectives.

Job Role

•Own the end-to-end delivery and operations of IT infrastructure delivery.
•Ensure high availability, reliability, and performance of all platforms
•Lead infrastructure provisioning, deployment, and lifecycle management
•Drive adherence to SLAs, OLAs, and operational KPIs
•Establish and enforce ITIL-based service management practices
•Oversee incident, problem, and change management processes
•Drive continuous service improvement (CSI) initiatives
•Ensure effective monitoring, alerting, and escalation mechanisms
•Oversee public, private, and hybrid cloud environments
•Manage on-prem infrastructure (data centers, servers, storage systems)
•Ensure seamless integration between cloud and on-prem platforms
•Drive cloud adoption and modernization initiatives
•Promote automation across infrastructure operations (IaC, scripting, orchestration)
•Reduce manual interventions and improve deployment efficiency
•Champion DevOps and platform engineering practices
•Ensure infrastructure capacity meets current and future demand
•Work closely with Infrastructure Planning for forecasting alignment
•Monitor and optimize performance across all platforms
•Ensure infrastructure complies with security standards and policies
•Collaborate with Security teams on risk mitigation and controls
•Oversee patching, vulnerability management, and audit compliance
•Ensure robust disaster recovery and business continuity capabilities
•Manage relationships with infrastructure vendors and service providers
•Ensure vendor performance meets contractual SLAs
•Provide key input to procurement and vendor selection processes
•Own infrastructure operational budgets and cost control
•Collaborate with FinOps team on cost optimization initiatives
•Ensure efficient utilization of infrastructure resources
•Close all the Section’s Audit Observations within the agreed timelines.

Qualification Required & Experience

Education

•Minimum of a University Degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field of study.
•Professional certifications advantageous (e.g., ITIL, COBIT5, PRINCE2/PMP, cloud (Azure/AWS), security fundamentals).
•MBA / Master’s degree a plus.

Experience

•Minimum of 8 years’ experience in IT infrastructure (data centre, network services, compute/storage, end?user services and/or cloud), including delivery accountability for multiple initiatives with at least 5 years in a leadership/management role, preferably within a medium to large organisation.
•Proven experience managing vendors/partners in project or managed services contexts and driving SLA/KPI performance.
•Experience in telecoms/regulated environments and multi?stakeholder delivery models a plus.

Knowledge

•Delivery leadership: planning, prioritization, dependency management, benefits tracking, and escalation management.
•Knowledge of IT service management, reliability, capacity, monitoring, incident/problem linkages and DR/BCP requirements.
•Structured root cause thinking, data-driven decisions, and risk-based trade-offs.
•Stakeholder Management, negotiation and influence across technical and business teams.
•Public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
•Virtualization (VMware, KVM, Hyper-V)
•Containers (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)
•Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, CloudFormation)
•Configuration management (Ansible, Puppet, Chef)

•Identity & Access Management (IAM)
•Security best practices and compliance frameworks
•Monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Cloud-native tools)
