Job Summary:
Royal Elmount Hotel is looking for an experienced and reliable Senior Cook to support the Chef in delivering high-quality meals. The ideal candidate will be hands-on in the kitchen, skilled in preparing both local and continental dishes, and capable of supervising junior kitchen staff during daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare a wide variety of meals in accordance with set menus and guest preferences.
• Assist the Chef in food planning, kitchen coordination, and menu execution.
• Monitor food preparation to ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
• Supervise and support junior cooks and kitchen assistants during shifts.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Take inventory of food supplies and report shortages or equipment issues.
• Step in for the Chef when required.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role within a hotel or reputable restaurant.
• Strong knowledge of Ghanaian and international cuisines.
• Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions.
• Good communication and time management skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Accomodation to be provided

Working Hours: Full-time, with flexible shifts including weekends and public holidays
