Job Description
Our client, a leading company in the Beauty and Fashion industry, seeks to employ an experienced and suitably qualified Ghanaian for the position of Seamstress.
Key Responsibilities
- Designs outfits according to established parameters.
- Marks, measures and cuts garments
- Sews, alters, and repairs outfits
- Performs proper fitting/measuring technique to ensure proper fit.
- Assists with embroidery trimming, as needed.
- Irons and packages finished garments
- Maintains cleanliness and good housekeeping in sewing area.
- Maintains accurate inventory of equipment and supplies.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification, Skills, Knowledge & Experience
- High school diploma (SHS/JHS) or equivalent
- Four or more years previous experience
- Creative, strong hand-eye coordination and a high degree of manual dexterity
- Ability to work independently with little direct supervision
