Job Description


Position: School Property Manager
Location: East Legon Hills, Greater Accra Region, Ghana

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Property Manager to oversee the maintenance, safety, and efficient operation of our school facilities. The successful candidate will ensure that our buildings, grounds, and equipment are well-maintained to provide a safe, welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations of school property, including buildings, classrooms, offices, and outdoor areas.
  • Supervise maintenance staff and contractors, ensuring timely completion of repairs and projects.
  • Oversee health and safety compliance, including fire safety, security systems, and emergency procedures.
  • Ensure the school is completely clean at all times.
  • Develop and manage budgets for property maintenance and improvement.
  • Conduct regular inspections and implement preventative maintenance schedules.
  • Coordinate with school leadership to support events and facility usage.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and school policies.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Proven experience in property or facilities management, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of building systems, maintenance procedures, and health & safety standards.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage budgets and negotiate with contractors.
