Job Title: Sales Supervisor

Location: Spintex, Greater Accra Region, Ghana

Job Summary

The Sales Supervisor is responsible for leading the sales team, managing customer relationships, monitoring performance, and ensuring sales targets are achieved. Candidates must come from the building materials or construction industry, with strong experience in frontline sales management. This role will be in Spintex.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support sales representatives and showroom staff.
  • Set daily/weekly sales targets and monitor achievement.
  • Train sales teams on product knowledge and customer handling.
  • Maintain relationships with key customers and distributors.
  • Handle escalated complaints and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Support CRM updates and customer follow-ups.
  • Track sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities.
  • Conduct field visits to retailers, wholesalers, and project sites.
  • Analyze customer buying patterns and recommend sales strategies.
  • Ensure proper product display, stock arrangement, and merchandising.
  • Monitor slow-moving and fast-moving items.
  • Prepare daily/weekly/monthly sales reports.
  • Monitor KPIs such as sales volume, product mix, customer conversion rate, etc.
  • Suggest improvements to increase revenue and market share.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years’ sales experience, preferably in building materials or mobile phones industry.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Good customer service orientation.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
