Job Title: Sales & Marketing Officer

Job Summary

Park Springs Hotel is seeking a proactive, target-driven Sales and Marketing Officer to grow room occupancy, food & beverage sales, and event bookings. The successful candidate will be responsible for both business development and digital marketing execution, ensuring the hotel maintains a strong market presence while converting visibility into measurable revenue.

This role requires someone who can sell, market, and own results.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development
• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve targets for accommodation, restaurant, bar, pool, conferences, and events.
• Identify and secure new business from corporate clients, travel agencies, tour operators, schools, NGOs, and event planners.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to drive repeat bookings.
• Prepare and present sales proposals, rate cards, and contracts to prospective clients.
• Actively follow up on leads, inquiries, and partnerships to close deals.

Marketing & Brand Growth
• Plan and implement marketing campaigns that increase brand visibility and directly impact bookings and revenue.
• Manage and optimize the hotel’s presence on Online Travel Agencies (OTAs) such as Booking.com, Expedia, and similar platforms.
• Monitor competitor pricing, promotions, and market trends to inform pricing and marketing decisions.

Digital Marketing & Social Media Management
• Fully manage the hotel’s digital marketing activities, including:
• Social media content creation, posting, and engagement (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, etc.)
• Online promotions, ads, and campaigns aimed at increasing bookings and walk-ins
• Updating website content and promotions in collaboration with management
• Track performance of digital campaigns and adjust strategies to improve results.
• Respond promptly to online inquiries, reviews, and messages across platforms.

Internal Coordination & Reporting
• Work closely with Front Office, F&B, and Events teams to ensure promises made during sales are delivered operationally.
• Track, analyze, and report weekly and monthly sales and marketing performance to management.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, bookings, and campaign results.

Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2–3 years proven experience in sales and marketing, preferably within hospitality, tourism, or service industries.
• Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
• Solid understanding of digital marketing and social media management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, meet targets, and perform under pressure.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with Canva, basic graphic tools, or content creation is an advantage.
• Familiarity with OTA platforms and online booking systems is a strong plus.
