Job Description

A reputable Beverage Company in the Greater Accra Region seeks to employ a Sales Manager to lead its Sales Team. This role involvesbuilding and leading a team of sales people to help drive revenue. As a Sales manager, you will be expected to motivate your team to generate leads, build client relationships, set targets to hit or exceed revenue forecasts and ultimately meet customer needs.

The Role

• Achieving growth and hitting sales targets by successfully managing the sales team
• Designing and implementing a strategic sales plan that expands the company’s customer base and ensure its strong presence in the market
• Conducting market studies that include providing detailed information on market needs, size and potential for growth and expansionin potential markets
• Develop policies and strategies for preserving existing clients and working to develop their sales capabilities and market share
• Developing plans for promotion, advertising and sales offers

Skills/Person Specification

• Successful previous experience as a sales manager consistently meeting or exceeding targets
• Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
• Strong business sense and industry expertise
• Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
• Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization

Qualification Required & Experience

Educational Qualification:

• Minimum of Degree in any discipline
• Working Experience: 5-7 years in sales management with experience in the beverage industry
