We are opening a new jewelry studio in the Osu area and we’re looking for someone with a creative eye and strong attention to detail to help customers create personalized, beautifully fitted jewelry pieces. If working with your hands, learning a unique craft, and being part of a meaningful customer experience appeals to you, this role could be the perfect match.

About the micro welding process: Micro-welding uses a tiny spark from a safe welding tool to fuse chains and charms, allowing customers to create custom, beautifully fitted jewelry pieces – from bracelets, necklaces, anklets, etc. The entire process gives our clients the chance to design something personal, intentional, crafted exactly the way they want it.

No previous jewelry experience is required – we will train you in micro-welding and guide you through the full customer-facing process.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Customer Experience & Interaction
– Welcome customers warmly and provide excellent, attentive service
– Support clients in choosing chains, charms, lengths, and custom combinations
– Walk customers through the micro-welding experience and answer questions confidently
– Explain chain types, materials (gold-filled, sterling silver), charm options, and aftercare
– Maintain a friendly, calm, and reassuring presence during fittings

Micro-Welding & Hands-On Craft Work (Training Provided)
-Learn and perform micro-welding using a safe, beginner-friendly machine
– Take customer measurements and prepare chains, and charms using small hand tools
– Create clean, seamless welds for a polished, professional final piece

Sales, Payments & Customer Guidance
– Handle mobile money, POS payments, and basic record-keeping
– Track sales and customer orders accurately

Shop Operations
– Maintain a clean, organized workstation and display area
– Keep the studio environment tidy,  welcoming, and aligned with brand standards
– Assist with stock checks and restocking chains, charms, packaging, and tools
– Keep materials organized and notify the team when items need replenishing

Professionalism, Reliability & Communication
– Represent the brand with professionalism, kindness, and pride
– Be punctual, reliable, and communicative about your schedule
– Support studio needs during weekends, busy periods, or pop-up events
– Share ideas to help strengthen customer experience or display layout

Qualifications and Experience
– Prior customer service and/or sales experience is required (retail, hospitality, boutique, or client-facing roles)
– SHS graduate or Diploma holder (preferred)
– Friendly, approachable, and confident engaging with customers
– Strong attention to detail and a creative eye for helping customers choose pieces
– Steady hands and good fine-motor skills for working with small, delicate materials
–  Reliable, punctual, and communicative
–  Must live within an easy commute to Osu area
(Bonus) Ability to take simple photos/videos for social media content
