Job Description


The West African Examinations Council, a sub-regional organization responsible for the conduct of various examinations in the English-speaking West African countries invites applications from suitably qualified persons to fill the under-mentioned vacant positions in its Ghana National Office.

POSITIONS: Research Officer II

Duties and Responsibilities

The successful applicant will be required to perform the following duties, among others:

• Conduct of Research
• Maintenance of Research database
• Supervise research projects from planning stage to final project completion
• Interpret data
• Write reports

Eligibility Criteria

Qualifications and Experience

• Possess a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University (at least Second Class Lower Division) in any discipline with a Master’s Degree in Measurement and Evaluation/Mathematics/Statistics/Biology/Physics and Chemistry.
• Have at least three (3) years relevant working experience in teaching or research with a reputable institution.
