Job Description
Key Duties & Responsibilities
• Implementation of policies, strategies, plans, procedures and guidelines in managing the company’s public relations activities
• Maintenance of a sustainable media relations and monitoring of print and electronic media content
• Collation of data and information to draft presentations, press releases and other communication materials
• Dissemination of internal communications through presentations, corporate announcements, publications and other notifications
• Planning, organisation and management of corporate events, road shows, earnings conference calls and investor meetings
• Management of corporate website and social media handles such as Twitter, Facebook and Instagram, updating information
• Facilitation of inward and outward travel documentation processing and protocol arrangement for employees and other key stakeholders
• Management of the image and brand of the company
• Coordination of public education, sensitization and outreach programme
Qualification Required & Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree plus
• 6 years of relevant work experience in corporate communications
Skills & Competencies
• Good knowledge and understanding of legislation in relation to corporate communication and data protection
• Good knowledge and understanding of communication management techniques, tools, channels and social media platforms
• Good knowledge and understand of the local political environment and operations of the media houses
• Strong communication, report writing, presentation and editorial skills
• Good knowledge and understanding of website management and content development
• Good knowledge and understanding of public educational tools, techniques, and processes
• Good knowledge and understanding of event coordination and management processes and procedures
• Understanding of corporate social responsibility practices
• Good knowledge and understanding of crisis management approaches
• Good stakeholder relations, relations, negotiation, persuasion and conflict management skills
• Good knowledge in the use of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, internet and other corporate communication software and tools
