- Support to conduct research on drug policy issues, human rights, public health, and other relevant topics to inform WADPN’s advocacy efforts and programme development.
- Provide administrative assistance to the Executive Director, including scheduling meetings and managing correspondence.
- Assist in the development of communication materials, such as newsletters, reports, and social media content, to raise awareness about WADPN’s work and engage with stakeholders.
- Support the planning and execution of events, workshops, and conferences organised by WADPN, including logistical arrangements and participant coordination.
- Foster relationships with partner organisations, government agencies, donors, and other stakeholders to enhance collaboration and support for WADPN’s mission and goals.
Qualifications:

- Experience in proposal writing, project management, and programme coordination, preferably in the nonprofit/advocacy sector.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and other relevant software applications.
- Knowledge of drug policy issues, human rights, gender, public health, or related fields in the West African context is desirable.
- Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in French is an asset.
