Job Description
A reputable public service organisation is seeking to recruit interested and dynamic applicants for the position below: Principal Corporate Affairs Officer
Duties / Responsibilities
• Develop and implement a communication strategy for the organisation to build and maintain a positive corporate brand
• Oversee corporate communications and branding in various online and print platforms such as social media platforms, magazines and other publications
• Supervise the development and maintenance of the corporate website including methods of delivering messages, ease of navigation and clarify of information, ensure that all content is and relevant
• Review and analyze the political, economics, social and industrial issues of the day as they impinge on the organizations activities and advise management
• Provide consistent and timely information to employees through various events and communication programmes
• Act as corporate spokesperson and respond to members of the media in a timely manner, compose and distribute with various members or the media
• Assist the organisation’s managers in developing presentations, speeches, events and other important corporate messages
• Develop, implement and adhere to the communications budget
• Perform any other related duties assigned by the head of department
Qualification Required & Experience
• A post graduate diploma in Communication or Marketing or its equivalent
• Degree in Public Relations or a related social Science Degree
• Not less than 10 years post qualification experience
• Must have completed National Service
