Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and qualified Pre-School / Nursery Teacher to join our early years team. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate learning experiences that support children’s social, emotional, physical, and academic development in line with British Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate lessons for nursery and preschool learners.
• Use phonics approaches, including Jolly Phonics, to support early literacy.
• Create a safe, stimulating, and well-organised classroom environment.
• Prepare teaching and learning materials and display children’s work attractively.
• Observe, assess, and record children’s progress accurately.
• Support children with different learning needs and abilities.
• Maintain positive classroom behaviour using age-appropriate strategies.
• Communicate effectively with parents and carers about children’s progress.
• Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development activities.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the school’s vision and ethos.
Qualification Required & Experience
• Minimum of a Diploma in Early Childhood Education or a Montessori Certificate.
• At least 1–3 years of teaching experience in a nursery or preschool setting.
• Good knowledge of British EYFS and early childhood curriculum.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Ability to plan creative and engaging lessons.
• Creative art or craft skills will be an added advantage.
• Patient, caring, and child-centred attitude.

• Organised and reliable.
• Willingness to learn and grow professionally.
• Able to work flexibly in a team environment.
