Obaatan Pa Women’s Hospital is seeking a qualified and experienced Peri-Operative Nurse to join our clinical team. The successful candidate will support safe, efficient, and high-quality surgical care across the peri-operative continuum.

Key Responsibilities
Provide peri-operative nursing care before, during, and after surgical procedures
Prepare operating theatres, equipment, and instruments in line with clinical standards
Assist surgeons and anaesthetists during procedures
Ensure strict adherence to infection prevention and control protocols
Accurately document peri-operative care in line with hospital policies and EMR requirements
Monitor patients’ vital signs and ensure patient safety throughout procedures
Participate in theatre audits, stock management, and quality improvement activities
Support emergency and elective surgical cases as required

Qualifications & Requirements
Diploma or Degree in Nursing
Post-basic qualification in Peri-Operative / Theatre Nursing
Valid Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) licence
Minimum of 2 years’ peri-operative or theatre nursing experience
Strong knowledge of aseptic techniques and theatre protocols
Ability to work shifts, including nights and weekends
Good communication, teamwork, and professionalism
