Job Description


There are 2B adults worldwide who don’t have a bank account. 2B. That’s ~40% of the world’s adult population. 350M of these live in Sub Saharan Africa. They are hardworking, young, connected adults who are invisible to the traditional banking system. Fido is changing that. We are building a borderless digital bank so that everyone can access financial products like credit, savings, and payments that make lives easier and better.

What will you do?

You will be the key liaison between Fido and our product partner, working closely to deliver a savings product to Fido’s customers. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the relationship and collaboration between the two entities, ensuring effective communication, understanding and fulfillment of customer needs, and seamless coordination and maintain the savings product. Your efforts will play a vital role in driving business growth, enhancing customer satisfaction, and fostering a strong, mutually beneficial partnership with the partner.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Relationship Management: Establish and nurture a productive relationship with our partner, acting as the main point of contact for all collaboration-related matters. Cultivate a strong working rapport to facilitate effective communication and cooperation.
  2. Customer Needs Assessment: Interact with Fido’s customers to identify and understand their needs, preferences, and feedback. And advocate for customer needs and expectations during collaboration discussions with the partner.
  3. Product Information Coordination: Gather, organize, and disseminate relevant product information from the partner to internal stakeholders. Ensure all teams have accurate and up-to-date details about the product offering to support marketing, sales, and customer support efforts.
  4. Issue Escalation and Resolution: Proactively identify potential roadblocks or challenges in the collaboration process and promptly escalate them to the relevant stakeholders for resolution. Work with both Fido and the partner to find suitable solutions.
  5. Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze the performance of the product post-launch, including customer adoption, usage patterns, and feedback. Provide regular performance reports to relevant teams at Fido and to the partner.
  6. Continuous Improvement: Constantly seek opportunities to enhance the collaboration process, identify potential areas for improvement, and implement best practices to optimize the partnership.

Qualification and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in financial product collaboration or partnership management, preferably in the banking or financial services industry.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational and project management abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Understanding of savings products and their market dynamics.
  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to navigate challenges proactively.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
