We are seeking an experienced Operations and Retail Manager to provide leadership and oversight to our operational activities, including managing sales personnel, merchandisers, shop attendants, and our health food mart. This role is pivotal in ensuring smooth daily operations, enhancing team performance, and growing our customer base and sales.

Key Responsibilities

• Operational Oversight: Oversee daily operations, including inventory management, stock taking, order fulfillment, and delivery coordination.
• Team Management: Manage, mentor, and motivate a diverse team, ensuring high morale and effective performance.
• Sales Growth: Develop strategies to increase sales and customer base in our health mart and across other sales channels.
• Retail Experience Management: Utilize retail experience to optimize shop layout, product placement, and customer engagement.
• Customer Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with supermarkets and other clients.
• Performance Analysis: Regularly analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth.
• Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure adherence to industry standards and practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in a retail or FMCG environment, with a focus on operational management and team leadership.
• Proven track record of managing and growing sales teams.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of the FMCG industry in Ghana and experience with health food products is a plus.
