Job Description
A reputable firm in Accra is looking for a professional to fill the role of Office Manager.
Responsibilities
- General bookkeeping duties including accounts payable and receivable.
- Make statutory payments
- Ensure that all items are invoiced and paid on time
- Receive and host clients and visitors professionally
- Respond to telephone enquiries
- Monitor and purchase supplies along with organizing supplies and office records
- Maintain the office condition and arrange necessary repairs
- Organize office operations and procedures
- Schedule meetings and appointments as needed
- Liaise with facility management to ensure professional appearance of office through organization
- And any other task assigned by Head of institution
Requirements and Skills
- Proven experience as an office Manager or Administrative Assistant
- Knowledge of Office Administrator responsibilities, systems and procedures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite(word, PowerPoint, excel, outlook etc)
- Excellent typing skills
- Hands on experience with office machinery
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills
- Degree holder in any field with at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Good interpersonal skills
- Should have completed National Service
- Candidate must reside within East Legon and its environs including Adjiringanor, Adenta, Madina, Legon, Spintex, Haatso, Ogbojo.
