Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and technically inclined individual to join our IT team as an entry-level IT Support Officer. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining the functionality of our IT systems by providing basic troubleshooting for network issues, devices, application testing, enforcing IT policies, and assisting with a range of general IT tasks. This is an exciting opportunity to begin your career in IT and contribute to the overall success of a global organization’s technology operations.

What will you do?

  • Assist in diagnosing and resolving basic network-related problems by collaborating with senior IT staff, and providing guidance to end-users.
  • Provide technical assistance for hardware and software-related issues, including installations, upgrades, and replacements.
  • Assist in enforcing IT policies related to managing user accounts, permissions, and access to IT resources.
  • Participate in testing new app updates for compatibility and functionality, and documenting bugs encountered during testing.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date IT documentation and inventory.
  • Provide support for audio-visual equipment setup and troubleshooting during meetings and presentations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address IT-related challenges and improvements.

Qualification and Requirements:

  • BSc in IT related subject (relevant working experience is a plus).
  • Strong interest in IT and technology with a willingness to learn.
  • Basic understanding of information security, networking concepts and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with common operating systems (Windows, macOS) and office productivity software (MS Office Suite/Google productivity Suite).
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with end-users.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
