Job Description


Job Summary

• The successful candidate will join as a manager for MFS and Cash Assurance in the Finance Department.
• (S) He will report to the Head of Revenue Assurance and Fraud Management. The MFS and Cash Assurance Manager will be responsible for providing the business with assurance services on MFS Revenues Cash, preventing leakages and performing professional audit work individually or as a team leader to ensure quality products and identify and mitigate cash risks as part of revenue assurance value addition.

Key Responsibilities

• In the context of GSMA MMO CoC requirements, the MFS and Cash Assurance Manager is responsible for the implementation and execution of all MFS and Cash Assurance Controls.
• Ensure 100% Implementation and Execution of all MFS & Cash End to End Controls.
• Ensure Controls in Revenue Assurance/Billing scope around the GSMA MMO CoC are fully designed, implemented, executed, and formalized.
• Ensure that exceptions on GSMA CoC and Cash Assurance alarms are followed up and properly.
• Ensure Alarms and Controls around the MFS Framework have been deployed.
• Deliver 100% implementation, execution and compliance of the Cash Assurance Framework
• Provide support on MFS to Finance and MFS operations Team through Business Partnering approach.
• Identify manual controls and automate them.
• Document standard operating procedures for all MFS controls
• Improve upon MFS controls to a Managed level.
• Put in place a weekly Risk Dashboard reporting on Leakages and Financial impact.
• Carryout Periodic Logical Access Review and Wallet Audit on MFS Platform to ensure accesses granted are role based and Wallet’s functionality and configuration are accurate.
• Assist MFS Business unit in the monthly update of the Product Catalogue

Carry out End to End Control Review

• Perform Periodic End to End review on MFS & Cash to ensure that all controls have been fully implemented and complimentary controls are in place to plug out leakages as discussed with Manager.
• Ensure Standard Templates for MFS & Cash Assurance Controls have been fully implemented.
• Ensure Key Controls and Alarms have been defined on key areas.
• Perform control adequacy and effectiveness reviews of business processes that affect revenues.
• Ensure daily follow ups with Treasury to ensure Bank differences are closed on time with Bank Partners
• Put in place measures to deliver 0% leakages in the MFS and Cash Assurance space.

Carry out Risk Analysis on Products

• Carry out risk analysis on products to ensure control impact has been factored.
• Prepare RA Test scenarios to be factored in the product testing and periodic testing of products.
• Monitor the MFS Dashboard to ensure unusual dips and spikes are picked up.
• Validate all critical changes and modifications (i.e., on the MFS platform before and after implementation.)

Qualification Required & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree Computer Science/I. T, master’s or accounting certification will be an added advantage.
• CISA Certification
• Minimum of 4 years relevant working experience
• Broad knowledge of operations activities.
• Knowledge in SQL & Oracle Databases
