Job Title: Management Trainee

Job Summary: This is an entry-level developmental opportunity to build your expertise in sustainable forest plantation operations. The programme offers hands-on knowledge and experience in forest management, conservation, and sustainable resource utilisation under the guidance of experienced management personnel.

Job Type: Fixed Term Contract

Training Period: Six months

Job Location: Berekum-Bono Region, Akumadan-Ashanti Region

Job Responsibilities

• Undergo comprehensive training across core departments, including:
  • Plantation management
  • Nursery operations
  • Harvesting operations
  • Commercial operations
• Assist supervisors and team leaders in day-to-day tasks and field operations.
• Conduct site monitoring and report on progress, trends, or potential issues.
• Participate in performance reviews, assessments, and practical evaluations.
• Contribute to operational planning, resource management, and innovation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve workflow efficiency.

Eligibility

• Relevant tertiary qualification in forestry, natural resources, environmental science or a related field.
• Previous internship or project experience in the forestry sector is an advantage.
• Completed National Service with a certificate.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Valid National ID and Health Insurance.

• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability and willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Knowledge of GIS mapping and forestry software is a plus.
• Passionate about environmental stewardship and sustainability.

• Ability to work constructively in a team.
