Job Description

Our client is a leading name in the construction, hospitality, and resort industry, known for providing exceptional guest experiences. This role involves formulating and executing sales strategies, preparing briefs, and managing all sales activities.

Our client is developing a 12-floor premium quality residential block comprising 52 dwelling units of varying dimensions and related facilities, including a fitness centre, spa, swimming pool, car parking, and a full-service package to residents consistent with the expectations of owners seeking exceptional and indulgent services tailored to individual needs.

This centrally located residence provides a secure and restful home in the heart of the vibrant modern city of Accra and provides the highest level of sophistication and culture.

They aim to launch a comprehensive sales and marketing campaign as soon as possible with the goal of selling all available units during the building construction phase. The time scale for commencement of construction is the third quarter of 2024, and full completion of the development is planned by December 2026.

To this end, we are recruiting for a seasoned manager who will be located in Accra, Ghana, working closely with and reporting directly to the Managing Director.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

As a member of the senior project team, you are responsible for:

· Assisting the employer in the formulation of the sales proposition, preparation of the project brief including an FAQ section, launching, managing the sales cycle, and developing and managing a budget based on market feedback and information.

· Ensuring that leases are drafted, milestone payments are done, and buyers are kept abreast of the progress of the construction in relation to the initial program.

· Reviewing contracts and editing drafts as necessary with the aid of external counsel.

· Liaising with the construction team to ensure special requests from the buyers are incorporated into the construction and these are followed as per agreed specification.

· Reviewing and reporting monthly, to the Managing Director about your own and the Channel Partner performance, providing campaign analysis, target, and competition status, as well as validating bookings made with full support and coordination with the post-sales team.

· Developing and implementing strategic marketing and sales plans and forecasts to achieve corporate objectives for products and services.

· Achieving full sales of all available units by advertising, conducting promotional tours, processing legal documentation, closing lease agreements, and enforcing lease terms.

· Promoting the project through marketing initiatives, including drafting press releases, representing the company to media outlets, and maintaining social media presence at the property level and at a corporate level.

· Acquiring thorough knowledge of sales-related legal documentation and property management arrangements, as well as updating and managing social media profiles.

· Maintaining accurate information on the company website and designing promotional web landing pages to track the effectiveness of all marketing initiatives.

· Providing guidelines and guidance to personnel on the application of procedures, and monitoring and following up on specific tasks and project deliverables.

· Managing overall sales and marketing activities that include market research, sales presentations, analysis of sales and marketing trends, and advertising and marketing promotional events.

· Seeking to minimize marketing expenses.


· Previous experience working in a similar role or in a related capacity.

· Previous experience in sales, particularly in the luxury real estate, hospitality, or resort industry.

· Academic qualifications or a relevant degree from an accredited university or college in land or property management and/or membership of a professional body such as a qualification as a chartered property surveyor or similar.

· Experience in branded real estate properties in luxury hospitality industry is a plus.

· In-depth knowledge of the luxury real estate business in Ghana.

· Strong links or networks with the Ghanaian diaspora, mainly in the USA and UK, and key markets in West Africa such as Nigeria will be highly advantageous.

· Demonstrated experience in developing and executing sales strategies, budget management, brand promotion, and campaign initiatives.

· Sound computer and excellent communication skills in English.

· Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to relate with a diverse range of clients.

Interview Process

· A Google Meet call with a recruiter.

· A video interview with the client.

· An invitation to attend an interview via video link and, depending on performance relative to other applicants.

· An in-person interview session at the work location in Accra, if possible, or in another mutually agreed location.

· Company’s brand.

· Channel Partner base, meaning sales agents, alongside effective procedures for coordinating with them regularly for sales.

· Strategies and tactics that successfully communicate your employer’s company’s brand message.

· Successful training of Channel Partner members for the project and regular sharing of project updates with Channel Partners.

· Working with other third parties, including but not limited to lawyers and members of the press, to establish a high profile for the project.
