KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
● Manage technology services that meet daily operational requirements in AmaliTech designated area(s)
● Installs and configures computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners
● Configure, Set-up, and Install networks based on Cisco and Sophos Technologies
● Reviews vendor contracts and coordinates IT purchases (hardware, software, and services) to ensure effective deployment of solutions aligned with user needs
● Monitor computer networks for security issues
● Install security measures and operate software to protect systems and information infrastructure, including firewalls and data encryption programs
● Maintaining user and office machines, laptops, desktops, printers, and others
● Setting up and maintenance of conference and communication devices
● Monitoring, responding to, and addressing IT-related issues as it is raised in company incident management systems and help desk.
● Set up all hardware (laptops, desktops, servers, printers, monitors), operating systems, and user applications
● Manage users on Microsoft Azure Endpoint Manager and Active Directory
● Stay up to date on information technology trends and security standards
● Provide IT support for UNIX/Linux and Windows systems
● Interpret and assist with backup as well as recovery processes along with industry standards
● Conduct installation, migration, and upgrade of entire technology systems in a validated atmosphere
● Perform within change control and ticketing system environment
● Assist with the tagging of all IT-related assets
● Commitment to continuously learn, quickly adapt, and grow
● Perform any other related task that will be assigned as required

QUALIFICATION
● Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
● Extensive years of hands-on IT and system administration experience in a similar role
● Strong technical knowledge and proficiency in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues
● In-depth understanding of computer systems, networks, and server administration
● Experience with Windows and/or Linux operating systems
● Familiarity with virtualisation technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) and cloud platforms (Google Workspace, Microsoft Azure)
● Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse complex technical issues and provide efficient solutions
● Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to non-technical users
● Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and self-motivated attitude
● Experience in managing Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy
● Familiarity with IT and Security best practices for incidents, problems, and change management
● Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices
● Experience with IT asset management and inventory control
● Industry training and certifications will be an added advantage
