Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Accra (Tantra Hills) for an Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Teacher. The ICT Teacher will be responsible for developing and delivering ICT and computer science lessons, creating effective and engaging lesson plans, and incorporating technology into the classroom to enhance learning. Additional responsibilities include educating students about programming, digital literacy, and online safety, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of current technology trends, and fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge and skills in Information Technology and Computer Science
• Proficiency in developing Lesson Planning and delivering structured educational content
• Proficiency in IoT, software development (e.g., web development, mobile development, etc.), and basic knowledge of AI and robotics (preferred)
• Certified or Qualified Teacher with 2+ years of experience in the field of ICT education.
• Effective Communication skills, including the ability to engage and inspire students.
• Passion for teaching and fostering a love for technology in students.
• Proficiency in utilising educational technology and innovative teaching tools.
• Familiarity with STEM education and interest in integrating interdisciplinary approaches would be a plus
• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Education, or a related field
