Job Description
Job Summary
• The successful candidate will join our team as Head for Value Added Services in the Marketing Department.
• (S)He will report to the Director for Marketing Operations and will be responsible the growth of revenue and overall gross margins with competitive solutions, products and services that are of high quality and appealing to the market and will be as transparent as possible in doing this.
• The job holder will also serve as the bridge between the commercial function of the company and the third-party suppliers of solutions products and services.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage end-to-end product development and execution.
• Manage overall VAS portfolio and strategy.
• Manage end-to-end product development and execution.
• Increase penetration of Solutions products, SOS and Insurance
• Increase penetration of entertainment products, RBT, video and music content products
• Maintain updated & relevant music, content, apps & games as part of the entertainment products portfolio.
• Manage the 3rd party relations with content providers and ensure that offers are designed according to set criteria.
• Define transparent business rules & fixing-the-basic processes related to VAS products.
• Define checklists for VAS products to be executed on daily basis.
• Define clear business rules and system notifications for all VAS products.
• Manage 3rd party relations with content providers and ensure that offers are designed according to set criteria.
• Analyze revenues, traffic and users to understand and anticipate potential deviations and opportunities.
• Resolve customer impacting issues raised by customer operation unit if 3rd party providers are involved.
Manage Revenue KPIs
• Ensure achievement of specified YoY overall revenue growth and targets for VAS
• Ensure increase in ARPU by increasing the contribution of VAS to the general ARPU
• Initiate business cases, change request and marketing & consumer understanding briefs to improve KPIs of VAS
• Define pilots for all VAS initiative & messages, define anti-churn and targeted offers and well as optimizing frequency of messages.
• Ensure the achievement of VAS gross margin, by maintaining gross margin of VAS at or above a specified percentage.
Qualification Required & Experience
• University degree, preferably in engineering, marketing and/or business administration. MBA preferred.
• In-depth and thorough knowledge of products, strategic/analytic, and marketing concepts
• Negotiation skills.
• Strategic thinker
• Experience in project management.
• Superior interpersonal communication.
• Creative thinker with an open mind to learn and explore new areas and opportunities.
• Familiarity with technical systems
• Fluent in English.
