Job Description
A reputable banking institution with a strong commitment to providing innovative and impactful financial services to support the growth of the economy is seeking qualified professionals for several roles to join their team.
Summary
• Under the general guidance of the Managing Director, lead the human resource function and facilitate the realization of the institution’s corporate strategy through the formulation and implementation of best practice Human Resource Management policies, procedures and processes that creates a cohesive, highly skilled and motivated workforce as well as initiation of guidelines for Human Resource Management and Human Resource Development
• The holder will also lead collective bargaining efforts and organizational development initiatives and ensure the establishment of administrative systems and processes to promote operational efficiency.
Qualification Required & Experience
• A minimum of a Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Social Science or related field from a recognized university
• A minimum of 12 years of Human Resources and Labour relations experience, with 4 years in management role
• Membership of a relevant professional body (CIPD/SHRM/IHRMP or equivalent)
Skills and Competencies
• Knowledge of the local labour laws and regulations
• Strong interpersonal and leadership qualities
• Solid business acumen and highly developed decision-making nd analytical abilities
• Strong oral and written communication and conflict resolution skills
• Must have excellent influencing and negotiation skills
• Government or regulated industry experience is an asset
• Change management skills
• Stakeholder and customer relationship management skills
• Leadership and people management skills
