Sefwiman Rural Bank PLC in the Western North Region is seeking to engage the services of Head of Credit.

Job Description

• Evaluate credit proposals and make appropriate recommendations to the Chief Executive Officer and the board based on the bank’s credit policies and relevant laws
• Monitor all credit facilities and report on early warning signals to the Chief Executive Officer
• Prepare and submit all monthly and quarterly regulatory and prudential returns to relevant authorities
• Any other duties that may be assigned by management

Qualification Required & Experience

• Minimum of Master’s Degree in a business-related discipline rom a recognized tertiary institution. Relevant professional qualification would be an added advantage
• Minimum of 5 years of working experience as a Head of Credit
• Knowledge in T24 Core Banking Application
• Be abreast with the Borrowers and Lenders Act, 2020 (Act 1052), Credit Reporting Act, 2007 (Act 726), and the Banks and Specialised-Deposit Taking institutions Act, 016 (Act 930).
• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Strong analytical and numeracy skills
• Must pay attention to details
• Excellent customer service skills
• Excellent report writing skills
• Very objective and independent
• High sense of integrity
