Job Description

• Provide strategic leadership and direction in managing airport terminal operations and ground handling services.
• Oversee the day-to-day activities of the terminal and ground handling operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and company policies.
• Develop and implement operational plans, procedures, and policies to optimize efficiency, enhance customer experience, and meet key performance indicators.
• Manage and coordinate all aspects of passenger handling, baggage handling, aircraft ground servicing, ramp operations, and other related activities.
• Ensure compliance with aviation security protocols, including screening procedures, access control, and adherence to local and international regulations.
• Collaborate with airlines, airport authorities, and other stakeholders to foster strong working relationships and partnerships.
• Develop and manage budgets, control costs, and identify opportunities for revenue generation and cost optimization.
• Recruit, train, and supervise a team of professionals, providing guidance, performance feedback, and opportunities for professional development.
• Oversee the maintenance and upkeep of airport facilities, equipment, and infrastructure, coordinating with relevant departments and vendors.

The Successful Applicant

• The ideal candidate should experience (minimum 15-20 years) in airport terminal operations and ground handling services, including a proven track record in a leadership role.
• Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams, drive performance, and promote a culture of excellence.
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of airport operations, aviation regulations, security protocols, and industry best practices.
