Job Description


Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Collation and analysis of data for annual budget preparation and generation of budget variance analysis report
• Maintenance of chart of accounts, code structures and classifications
• Maintenance and update of fixed asset register
• Review and postings of accounting transactions into the general ledger and reconciliation with the appropriate sub ledgers
• Vetting, certification and processing of invoices through the accounting system for payment
• Processing of monthly payroll for employees and preparation of monthly payroll reports
• Preparation and filing of statutory returns (SSNIT, VAT, PAYE, etc) and generation of tax reports for statutory payment
• Preparation of monthly bank reconciliation statements
• Generation of financial statements and other management reports

Qualification Required & Experience

• First Degree
• Part II Institute of Chartered Accountants ICA Ghana or equivalent
• MBA / MSc Degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent from a recognised tertiary institution
• 6 years of relevant working experience in finance or accounting
