The role requires strong technical accounting knowledge, analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate across departments.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Accounting

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards (IFRS / AASB / GAAP).
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare general ledger entries, account reconciliations, and journal postings.
• Support external and internal audits by preparing schedules and responding to audit queries.

Inventory and Accounts Payable

• Process month close activities in ERP
• Run reports
• Ensure interfaces are complete and free of errors
• Prepare monthly AP SL to General ledger reconciliation and resolve variances

Accounts Payable

• Process month close activities in ERP
• Run reports
• Ensure interfaces are complete and free of errors
• Prepare monthly AP SL to General ledger reconciliation and resolve variances

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Professional qualification preferred (CA / CPA / ACCA or equivalent).
• 5–8 years of relevant experience in accounting or financial analysis roles.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and accounting principles.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, ) and advanced Excel skills.
