Job Description
DANUBE HOME (SW Global Solutions Ghana Ltd) is seeking to recruit a Facility Maintenance Officer.
Job Description:
• Manage unplanned maintenance, repair and recovery for the facility as required
• Ensure that the facility is fully operational with all utilities functioning properly
• Operate and manage waste management processes
• Carry out daily walk rounds, ensuring the building fabric is in good order, noting any defect and raising it with Facility Manager
• Monitor and ensure that agreed work by staff or contactors are completed satisfactorily and follow up on any deficiencies
• Follow-up on timelines to ensure periodic services such as generator and elevator servicing, facility fumigation is rendered as at when due
• Prepare weekly and monthly report of the facility activities
• Respond appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise
• Maintain detail log of complaints, response and response time
• Maintain detail log of failing components replaced and associated cost.
• Ensure that basic facilities, such as water, sewer are well maintained
• Prepare and submit weekly report of activities at facility to the Facility Manager.
• Manage the upkeep of equipment and supplies
• Ensure zero downtime of utility: water, electricity, waste management, security, and sanitation
• Monitor the use of generator fuel
Qualification Required & Experience
• Diploma,degree in one or more of these: Facility Management, Estate Surveyor, Estate Management, Estate Valuer or any other related field of study with in depth knowledge of real estate industry and its current events.
Salary: Depends on experience
