Our client also provides wholesale financing/lines of credit and partial credit guarantees to eligible financial institutions. On behalf of our client, we now invite applications from experienced professionals for the following vacancies:

Head, Internal Control

Role Summary

The Head, Internal Control would (a) lead strategy development and ensure a strong internal control environment through the development, implementation and standardisation of policies and procedures and (b) enhance the reliability of financial reporting and drive the effectiveness and efficiency of unit’s operations

Required Education and Experience profile

• Minimum of 12 years’ post-graduation experience in Internal Control/ Compliance/ Audit within Financial Services or related sector with at least 8 years in a managerial role
• Minimum of a first degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline. A Master’s degree is an advantage
• Relevant professional certification/ membership of a recognised professional associations in Ghana or abroad is required
• Experience in providing strategic leadership in internal control for a financial services or similar organisation in a developing economy
• Detailed knowledge and understanding of the regulatory environment for the financial sector (e.g., BoG requirements)
• Evidence of excellent leadership, goal achievement, stakeholder engagement, professionalism, networking, and collaborative skills
• Additional expertise in one or more of the following areas will be an advantage: Strategy and Organisational Design, Information Technology, and Environmental, Social, and Corporate Governance (ESG).

Chief Information Security Officer (CISO)

Role Summary

The Chief Information Security Officer would (a) direct the cyber security strategy for the organisation (b) provide both oversight and direction for the management of information security risks across the organisation (c) establish, maintain and oversee security policies and processes to ensure information assets and technologies are protected in the organisation, and (c) ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements.

Required Education and Experience profile

• Minimum of 12 years’ post-graduation experience in Information Security within Financial Services or related sector with at least 8 years in a managerial role
• Minimum of a first degree in Information Technology (IT), Computer Science, or a related discipline. A Master’s degree is an advantage
• Relevant professional certification/ membership of a recognised professional associations in Ghana or abroad is required
• Detailed knowledge and understanding of legal and regulatory environment for the financial sector (e.g., BoG requirements)
• Experience in providing strategic leadership in Information Security for a financial services or similar organisation in a developing economy.

Information Technology Officer

Role Summary

The Information Technology Officer would (a) support the organisation in maintaining and troubleshooting all network systems and computer-related issues (b) monitor performance and manage parameters to provide fast response to front-end users (c) develop and deploy efficient technology operating models and processes, as well as the security of the organisation’s information assets.

Required Education and Experience profile

• Minimum of 3 years’ post-graduation experience plus National Service
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a relevant discipline
• Relevant professional certifications & membership of professional associations in Ghana or abroad will be an added advantage.
• Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
