We have an exciting opportunity for adventurous, experienced, and open-minded individuals to join our team.

We are seeking highly skilled and experienced Top-hammer, surface blast hole drillers to join an international project to help our client achieve maximum efficiency in their surface drilling operations.

You will be operating the surface drill as a production driller, and are expected to meet safety standards and production targets as set by the client in a very highly regulated country.

Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, drug screen, and National police clearance
Experience on Epiroc T45’s and/or Sandvik Dp1500i
Current first aid/CPR and fire extinguisher qualifications preferred but not essential
Prior work history in Drill and blast operations on a mine site.
Be self-motivated with the ability to work safely.

Knowledge skill and ability

Must have:

Minimum 5 yrs Top Hammer drilling experience
Minimum of 3 yrs drilling with Epiroc T45 drills
Able to work for extended periods in foreign country
High school diploma or literacy equivalent
Excellent command of the English language
Advanced communication skills

Beneficial

Sandvik Dp1500i series experience
Any OEM training certificates
Drill supervisor or trainer experience
Relative experience working outside Ghana
A valid certificate for specific equipment
Knowledge of the work management process, planning, and scheduling.
Knowledge of relative health and safety standards and policies.
Time management skills
Ability to work independently.
Deftness and attention to detail
Willing to work in a diverse environment
High school diploma or equivalent
