Job Description
A progressive insurance company is seeking an experienced Deputy HR Head to support our HR strategy, driving employee engagement, development and productivity to achieve organizational growth. The ideal candidate will assist the HR Head in crafting and implementing HR initiatives that drive passion, creativity and productivity across all levels of employees
Key Responsibilities
• Strategy: Assist the HR Head in developing and implementing comprehensive HR strategies aligned with business objectives
• Talent Management: Assist the HR in recruitment, training, performance management and succession planning
• Employee Relations: Foster positive workplace culture, address conflicts and ensure employee satisfaction
• Assist in the supervision and development of HR staff
• Assist in design, implementation and maintenance of HR policies and procedures
• Employee engagement: Develop initiatives promoting diversity, equity and inclusion
• Manage HR budget and optimize resource allocation
• Provide insight HR metrics and analytics
• Facilitate organizational change initiatives
• Develop and implement effective communication strategies
Qualification Required & Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in HR Management or related field (Master’s Degree will be an added advantage)
• 5+ years HR experience, preferably in leadership roles
• Must have practical knowledge in employee performance management tools (preferably, balanced score card)
• Professional certification: CHRMP, SHRM-CP, PHR or equivalent certifications desirable
• Proficiency in HRIS, payroll software and Microsoft 365
• Excellent communication, leadership, analytical and problem-solving abilities
