What are we looking for?

We are seeking an experienced and talented Demand Planner to join our Commercial team. He/she should have good knowledge in demand planning, demand forecast execution and materials availability management to meet customer delivery performance, maintain optimal inventory levels, and support efficient production scheduling. He/She must be fluent in English . We especially encourage young and innovative people to take this opportunity to work and live in Accra-Tema.

What do we expect from the candidate?

The candidate will be part of our global Commercial Team and mainly work in the coordination of internal teams (operations and commercial) to align materials capacity and priorities. He /She is expected to monitor supply chain performance to ensure delivery targets are met. Anticipate and address potential disruptions in production or material supply and Implement corrective measures to maintain service levels and inventory balance.

The Key Responsibilities

Customer Demand Processing :

• Accurately process and record customer demands in the system

Internal Interaction

• Execute commitments with customers.
• Expedite orders and resolve issues promptly.

Issue Monitoring & Escalation

• Track factors impacting delivery performance and inventory
• Escalate critical issues to relevant teams.

Production Planning

• Plan, schedule, and approve production orders.
• Align plans with available materials, capacity, and customer priorities.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Coordinate with Process managers, Operations control, and customer Focus Teams.
• Address raw material shortages, specifications changes, and backlog challenges.

Reporting & Forecasting

• Prepare and deliver periodic reports.
• Generate production and supply simulations to anticipate material needs and optimize stock levels across distribution channels.
• Forecast SKU-level demand to guide inventory

If you possess…

Must-Have

• At least 2 years of experience as a Demand Planner/Supply Chain Officer or similar role.
• Knowledge of demand planning, forecasting methodologies, and inventory management principles.
• Familiarity with production scheduling processes and supply chain coordination.
• Proven track record of delivering accurate forecasts that support business objectives, new product launches, and promotions.
• Experience in handling materials availability issues and production scheduling.
• Proficiency with demand planning software and ERP systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management or a related field.

Nice-to-Have

• Technical background: Experience in SKU-level demand planning and forecasting
• Ability to prepare and interpret detailed reports and simulations.
• Ability to forecast accuracy rate compared to targets.
