Job Description


Salary: GH₵1,000.00

  1. A SHS in Business Administration or any related field; an experience of about 1 year is an added advantage.
  2. Excellent communication skills – both oral and written,
  3. Ability to handle pressure
  4. Good management skills, and the ability to pay attention to details.
  5. Good organizational, interpersonal, problem-solving skills and Peoples’ skills: The service officer needs to have the right skills to be able to relate well with diverse groups of customers
  6. Computer proficiency: The customer service officer must be able to operate the computer and other related gadgets.
  7. Highly motivated and enthusiastic
  8. Ability to work under little or no supervision10. Possess administrative skills, and the ability to work as part of a team11. Ability to multitask and be flexible12. A past experience in similar position or similar organization

    Job Purpose:
    credit officer to grant loans, assess customers, recover loans, assist with other admin work

Job Responsibilities:

1. Responsibly solicit and manage new loan accounts/products to build and achieve your set target.
2. Pre-screening, orientation and registration of loan applicants.
3. Complete loan application form and ensure loan is properly book in the system.
4. Must ensure loan applicants comply with all credit documentation policy.
5. Conduct credit and background investigation of eligible loan applicants.
6. Evaluate cash flow of loan applicants.
7. Ascertain the completeness of loan documents before loan is send for appraisal.
8. Must ensure 100% repayment of all loans disbursed.
9. Must present comprehensive monthly report on the stage of his/her loan portfolio?
10. Follow up on delinquent loans (a day late payment or more) immediately and informs the Management of Credit if no payment is received or collected within the same day.
11. Recommend remedial measures for delinquent borrowers.
12. Responsible for the attainment of his/her performance targets
13. Assist in identifying new business opportunities, promote and sell the banks products and services
14. Daily report to the Management on activities and status of set targets.
